Overview:
The bus leaves at 7.30 from Matsuyama JR station, giving us plenty of time in the Iya Valley to eat, experience, and explore the stunning culture and scenery on offer. Once in the Iya Valley, we’ll learn to make delicious soba noodles with locals, walk over the famous vine bridges (kazurabashi) 14 metres above the valley floor, and enjoy the Forest Adventure – traversing the forest canopy with ropes & harnesses and taking on the 360-metre zip line. The trip will be led by a member of Hidden Japan Travel, but this isn’t a guided bus tour – no flags at the front of a flock of tourists in sight!
